Drainage Solutions

Brown Brothers’ Landscape & Snow provides drainage installation and maintenance services to prevent property damage, erosion, and manage landscape health. The goal of good drainage is to conserve and redirect water away from valuable areas of home or property.

Installation Types:

French Drain – Best way to take large over saturated areas and catch them in gravel & perforated pipe and route them to areas that can tolerate more water based on soil, plant, and grade factors.

Direct Bury Trench Drain – If we are looking to get water from Point A to Point B in a hurry, we opt for Dual Wall N12 Pipe. We never use single wall pipe that is difficult to pitch, and can easily be crushed, clogged, and not function. With a Smooth Dual Wall, water does not get held up by the friction of the corrugation and does not seep out until the termination point.

Dry Creek Beds – Utilizing grading of ground, woven weed fabric, and choice of river rock and boulders, we can create a nice landscape year round, and have a solution to route water in an effecient above ground way.

Downspout Burial – Effective in hiding gutter downspouts, and also direct water away from foundation.

Quality

Size Calculation – When installing underground drainage pipe, it is crucial to ensure the pipe is sized correctly. During our consultation with you, we will run flow rate calculations to make sure the correct drainage pipe is being used.

Slope – Throwing pipe in the ground is not enough. It needs to be pitched correctly and maintain the proper slope to allow for the desired water flow.

Laser Level – We use specialized levels to help us achieve the correct results during install every time.

Gravel – Clean 3/4″ Gravel allows us to bed our pipes in a base that we know to be solid, and not susceptible to shifting, crushing, or changing slope.

Compaction – Proper plate compaction equipment is required to compact the sub-base and base material for the increased longevity of the system.

Our Committment

Solution – We deliver a sensible approach to drainage. We are going to run the calculations, and we are going to install something that works, not something that should work.

Irrigation Repair – Often times, irrigation systems clash with our pipe going in the ground. We fix those repairs on the spot, instead of causing you a different kind of water problem!

Lawn Repair – Lawn damage is an overlooked side effect of a drainage install on your property. We take precautions to repair and/or prevent this. We use ground protection mats when driving machinery. We also haul all excavated dirt away and have your lawn looking untouched the same day after install.
