Brown Brothers’ Landscape & Snow provides retaining wall installation and repair services to create more usable space to your outdoor living space, help prevent erosion, protect the foundation, or simply provide a vertical hardscape feature that is ascetically pleasing in the landscape.
We create anything from structurally engineered walls, to raised landscape beds.
Installation
Design – We listen to your needs and desires and begin the process of formulating a plan that best suits your property. We can create a project that meets your needs, goals, and budget.
Materials – There are several varities, styles, types, and colors to choose from. We work with you to offer suggestions, and try to best incorporate existing landscape with the new build.
Processes – We use industry approved best practices to build our walls. We don’t cut corners. We want to build long-lasting walls that keep on shedding light on our company.
Knowledge – We are continually looking for ways to increase our operations excellence. We are constantly studying new products that deliver our clients lifetime results!
Quality
Excavation – Digging to the proper depth, and then compacting the sub-base allows for the base layer to be planted in a way that will not settle over time.
Base – We use a compacted gravel base that ensures settling/shifting will not occur.
Drainage – We integrate a drainage solution that permits any water that flows behind the wall to exit through drains that do not put pressure on the wall.
Backfill – Most retaining walls fail because the backfill was done incorrectly. You should only have to build one wall, not have to keep restacking blocks year after year.
Geogrid – Installed throughout the layers of block to tie back into the backfill to make sure the wall does not lean, separate, or buckle.
Our Commitment
Irrigation Repair/Integration – Often times, irrigation systems clash with our wall placement. We re-route those irrigation pipes on the spot, instead of causing you a huge problem after we leave! We also integrate the new landscape area with the existing irrigation system, so there are no lapses in coverage.
Lawn Repair – Lawn damage is inevitable when it comes to excavation and heavy equipment. We take precautions to repair and/or prevent this. We use ground protection mats when driving machinery. We do our best to put the lawn back just as we found it!
Lifetime – Our walls will last a lifetime. We put the time, knowledge, and effort in on the design and execution so that no one has to spend time later repairing it!
