Technical Specifications
Low-Voltage – We use LED lights that do not much electricity compared to the old Halogen bulbs. They also pose less risk as far as shorting out, burning up bulbs, or shock.
Weather Resistant – We install commercial grade lighting that meets the appropriate standards for being exposed to all 4 season throughout the year.
Design – We customize and tailor our approach based on each unique property. We strive to design in a way that is cost-conscious and ability to make maximum impact on the ‘nightscape’.
Installation – We use the best materials and connectors available to promote a long lasting and error free lighting system. Copper wire, electricity, and water do not mix! We use air-tight connections with corrosion resistant components.
Control/Timing – We set up a transformer that contains an easy to use timer that can control lights, color, and timing. There is also Wi-Fi enabled transformers available given the size and scope of install. Adjustments are needed yearly to account for day-light savings time changes.
Troubleshooting – It’s never fun when lights don’t work. But, we design our lighting systems in a way that makes it easy to follow and isolate any issues with wiring, connections, or light fixtures.
Repairs
Contact Brown Brothers’ Landscape & Snow if you notice a light not turning on, burning brighter, or flickering. We are able to work on systems we design and install, and on existing systems where we don’t visibly see the wiring. We use locate tools to detect wire cuts, voltage drop, and bad lighting fixtures. We can dispatch our skilled technicians to make repairs.
